MONREALE
Parfums de Caractère
More than a fragrance
Monreale is an international fine fragrance house named after the 13th-century Monreale Cathedral in Palermo, Sicily — a place where history, spirituality, and artistry coexist in rare harmony.
The brand was inspired during a journey through southern Italy, where the founder encountered the cathedral’s extraordinary blend of Byzantine, Norman, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. Its mosaics, incense-filled atmosphere, and sacred stillness became the emotional foundation of Monreale.
Monreale was born from this moment — a tribute to heritage, ritual, and inner presence.
The Philosophy
At Monreale, fragrance is treated as a work of art.
Each scent is carefully composed like a sacred composition — balancing depth, texture, and emotion. Our vision is to create a sense of home through scent, inspired by incense, light, and the quiet power of ritual.
We believe perfume should not overwhelm.
It should accompany, ground, and reveal character.
Every creation is designed to invite the wearer to slow down, connect, and find meaning in the smallest moments.
The Founder
Monreale was founded by Thomas Tsavdaridis, a Greek entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the luxury cosmetics and perfume industry.
Guided by a deep respect for tradition and craftsmanship, Thomas created Monreale to reveal a world of signature fragrances — carefully designed and composed by some of the finest perfumers.
His Greek Orthodox background and appreciation for sacred spaces strongly influence the brand’s identity, infusing Monreale with depth, spirituality, and intention.
Craftsmanship & Sustainability
